The Watchman Prophetic Conference 2019

02 - Day 1 Session 2 - The Watchman Prophetic Conference 2019

• September 23, 2019

Extended worship and prayer open this conference session, followed by two connected teachings. Introduced as Brother Francis, the first speaker argues that Christ’s kingdom cannot be reduced to political parties, institutional success or human substitutes for the Spirit. Applying Zechariah’s horses, lampstand and olive trees alongside Revelation and Acts, he calls for holy, prayerful churches that display God’s presence, especially in Nigeria. He explicitly allows correction of his interpretation and says sustained pursuit, not a conference alone, is needed. His revival stories and predictions remain unverified testimony.

The second teacher, whose introduction is unclear in the automatic captions, calls for revival of the word and Spirit. He argues that spiritual decline follows neglect of scriptural authority and contrasts impressive religious activity with inward obedience. Exodus’s tabernacle instructions and Ezekiel’s temple vision frame a call to recover God’s pattern, repent of deviations and embody holiness, sacrifice, humility and unity. Examples from Jesus’ temptations, Abraham, Caleb and David encourage renewed faith rather than settling for substitutes.

Corporate prayers seek restored spiritual witness, mercy and correction in churches, ministries and personal life. Closing exhortations insist that repentance continue beyond the meeting; announcements follow.

Prayer Points

  1. 1

Open our hearts to receive God’s word and remember it in practice.

  2. 2

Keep Jesus central; grant wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

  3. 3

Make us obedient, teachable and responsive to God’s direction rather than our own desires.

  4. 4

Renew our love for Scripture so that we receive God’s heart rather than only collect preaching material.

  5. 5

Have mercy on the church in Nigeria and show where our ministries and lives have departed from God’s pattern.

  6. 6

Give us grace to return to God’s will for our marriages, children and ministries, and reveal decisions made through impatience or pressure.
