Offer the Lord a life purified for righteousness. His refiner’s fire reaches beyond public religious activity into the heart, motives, thoughts, desires, and conduct through which the body serves him. Present your body as a living sacrifice by allowing inward cleansing to become outward holiness; attendance, singing, and ministry activity cannot substitute for this surrender. God’s purpose is to make his people holy and blameless in love and to bring them into mature sonship, with an entire life that is acceptable to him. Renounce hidden shame, dishonesty, hypocrisy, manipulation, and habits that exercise mastery. Make deliberate decisions, but depend on the indwelling Holy Spirit and receive mercy rather than treating freedom as an achievement of willpower. Deal with others in transparent sincerity because the community shares covenant responsibility to love, protect, and stand with one another. Handle Scripture truthfully instead of bending it to support a preferred ideology. Refuse conformity to the world’s patterns and renew the mind through the Word, seeking the Spirit’s life-changing understanding rather than knowledge for display. Receive the culture of God’s Word in everyday life: love, the fear of God, truthfulness, integrity, and freedom from selfishness. The call is to kingdom culture, not simply a return to inherited social customs. Accept correction as part of God’s intentional preparation for the banquet and the inheritance of sons. Purified priests and mature firstborn sons carry responsibility for the wider church through intercession, watchfulness, and righteous offering. Bring the whole community before God, declare his promises over the household, and receive communion intentionally as a covenant response to his cleansing Word.
Father, purify my heart, thoughts, desires, and bodily conduct so that my whole life is an offering in righteousness.
Holy Spirit, show me hidden dishonesty and controlling habits, and empower me to renounce them.
Give me mercy not to faint or give up in the pursuit of holiness.
Deliver me from manipulation, hypocrisy, and selfishness; establish sincerity in my relationships.
Keep me from distorting Scripture, and teach me to receive and speak what your Word actually says.
Renew my mind and form the culture of your kingdom in my ordinary choices.
Mature us into sons and effective priests who carry the wider church before you.
Let every plan to trouble this household and displace Christ’s lordship fail; build us through your pure Word.
As I receive communion, let your Word cut my heart and deepen my covenant obedience.
