Kingdom Praying Women

THE FIRE ON YOUR ALTAR MUST NOT GO OUT

Chinyere Isibor • October 1, 2026 • 10:00 AM

KPW | OCTOBER 01, 2026 | KINGDOM PRAYING WOMEN - INDEPENDENCE INTERCESSORY SERVICE
The call to serve God effectively begins with genuine intimacy, total consecration, and a growing revelation of Jesus Christ, because spiritual authority cannot be sustained by religious activities, accumulated knowledge, or occasional prayer without a life of obedience and fellowship with God. True holiness is not merely the avoidance of visible sins but the surrender of personal opinions, desires, attitudes, and ways of living to the righteousness and purposes of God. Through continually beholding Christ, believers receive grace to overcome weaknesses, develop His character, discern His will, and become vessels capable of carrying His burdens. This intimacy must also govern everyday relationships, particularly marriage and family life, where competing responsibilities, disagreements, unforgiveness, financial pressures, and misplaced priorities can hinder spiritual growth. A solid foundation in God's Word, humility, repentance, reconciliation, and dependence on the Holy Spirit are essential for maintaining godly homes while fulfilling divine assignments. Beyond personal transformation, every believer and family has a kingdom responsibility that must be discovered, nurtured, and fulfilled, for wealth, wisdom, abilities, professions, and earthly opportunities are intended to serve God's eternal purposes rather than selfish ambition. The spiritual system represented by Babylon seeks to influence human desires, corrupt values, enslave souls, and divert individuals, families, and nations from their divine destinies; therefore, believers must resist its influence through righteousness, discernment, prayer, and the authority of Christ's finished work. The blood of Jesus is presented as the superior covenantal sacrifice through which believers contend for the redemption, restoration, and realignment of individuals, children, families, communities, and nations with God's purposes. Such intercession must be rooted in scriptural understanding, sincere repentance, spiritual discernment, and persistent engagement with God rather than empty declarations or temporary emotional fervour. The fire upon the altar must never go out: the knowledge of God's Word must be continually joined with prayer, purification, holiness, and an unwavering desire to know Him. Believers must learn to wait upon God, hear His instructions, and act according to His wisdom rather than relying upon human strategies or allowing distractions and technological conveniences to replace spiritual understanding and personal responsibility. There is also an urgent call for watchmen and intercessors to arise on behalf of their households and Nigeria, particularly for the restoration of young people, the healing of communities, the advancement of rural evangelism, and the recovery of God's purposes among the nations and peoples of the land. Ultimately, the measure of a fruitful spiritual gathering is not the intensity of its atmosphere but the lasting transformation, obedience, faithfulness, and kingdom responsibility it produces. God's people must awaken, maintain their spiritual altars, embrace their priestly assignments, and continually present themselves before Him as instruments through whom His righteousness, mercy, salvation, and purposes can be established on the earth.
