David Edwards

Itinerant Minister

**David L. Edwards** is the lead pastor and principal teacher of **Pierce Initiatives**, a Christ-centered ministry devoted to equipping believers to engage God practically and experientially and to mature into the full expression of who they have become in Christ. His ministry carries a strong emphasis on intimacy and fellowship with God, Kingdom priesthood, prophetic discernment, spiritual maturity, and understanding the times, seasons, plans, and purposes of God. Through his teachings, David challenges believers to move beyond merely knowing spiritual truths intellectually into experiencing and embodying the realities made available to them in Christ. At the heart of his ministry is a burden to see the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—brought into the realities of the new creation and conformed to the image of Christ. His teachings explore subjects including engaging God, the judicial system of Heaven, Kingdom priesthood, spiritual discernment, and the believer's participation in God's eternal purposes. David's ministry reflects a vision for the emergence of a mature generation of sons and daughters who know God intimately, discern His movements and purposes, walk in the realities of His Kingdom, and become living expressions of Christ in the earth.

Raised as a staunch orthodox Hindu, his life was radically transformed at the age of 16 through a supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ. Answering God’s call to ministry at 17, Brother Sadhu—affectionately known around the world as **Sadhu Iyyah**—has faithfully served the Lord for decades. Since 1979, his ministry has taken him to more than 50 nations, where his messages of love, holiness, spiritual consecration, and life in the Spirit have touched millions across cultures, races, and backgrounds. His ministry challenges believers to become yielded vessels of God, walking in intimacy with the Holy Spirit and actively advancing the Kingdom of God. Marked by a strong prophetic and evangelistic grace, his ministry has also been accompanied by testimonies of signs, wonders, and miracles.
