Holiness That Heals From Old Self to New Creation

Francis Isibor Jr • November 3, 2025 • 15 views

After music and technical setup, Franc Jr. introduces Word for Now and distinguishes himself from its convenor. The first substantial section is political commentary prompted by events the host associates with Nigeria and US attention to violence. He makes allegations about Nigerian leadership, US administrations, aid, media and surveillance, and expresses support for Trump while also warning about military intervention and insisting that Christ’s rule, rather than party allegiance, is the Christian aim. These are dated source opinions and unverified allegations, not this study’s factual findings. He then returns to Revelation 7, corrects seventh seal to sixth and introduces the 144,000 topic, but does not complete that numerical explanation in this session. The exposition uses Acts 1’s approximately 120 names, the 120 priests in 2 Chronicles 5, Exodus 40 and Revelation 15 as linked images of a dwelling filled by God’s glory. The host likens biblical patterns to cultural references, while explicitly allowing that a deep study can end without a new conclusion. He interprets wrath and plagues as divine glory exposing an already disordered condition, connects this to the renewed mind and new creation, and reads Haggai 2 in relation to Jesus entering the temple. His decisive clarification is that the church’s glory is Christlikeness, not merely visible brightness. A cancer illustration then presses the seriousness of small moral compromises; its simplified genetics, demonic language and suggestion that new-creation believers are exempt from fatal cancer are medically unsupported and are not adopted as explanation, guarantee or blame. The later section portrays holiness and divine love as compatible through stories of public prophetic correction and a secondhand ministry encounter. These are testimonies, not independently verified events or a model authorizing public exposure or coercive treatment. The host explicitly says he is not denying judgment, and he acknowledges that persecution and killing of Christians can occur. His business-and-luxury illustration is about where attention rests, not a financial promise. He urges listeners to anticipate Christlike generosity and forgiveness, admitting that he himself has not mastered some acts of kindness. The conclusion frames searching Scripture as relational discovery, illustrated by a proposal and a gift-giving story. He corrects an arithmetic expression for the future 144,000 discussion, promises fuller treatment next week, gives programme/link reminders and closes with a good-night blessing.

Study note: Caption-based study. Scripture references include explicitly cited passages, speaker allusions and editorial supporting connections. Prayer points are editorial reflections, not verbatim quotations.
