Youth Fire Conference 2026

When Hunger for God Rewrites Your Desires

Chinyere Isibor, Francis Isibor Jr • March 28, 2026 • 9:00 AM • 2 views

The life of salvation is a new state of being, not merely a prayer or a beginning. To remain in the fire of the Holy Spirit, believers must learn God’s ways through Scripture, pursue understanding, and abide in Christ’s word and love. Ignorance of the word leaves people unable to recognize what salvation has given them or to continue in its paths of righteousness and holiness.

Vision is necessary to live out God’s calling. God named Jeremiah before his birth and called Gideon a mighty man of valor despite the way Gideon saw himself. Like Elisha’s servant, people may face the same circumstances yet respond differently because one can see by faith what another cannot. Pray for the eyes of understanding to be enlightened, recognize your identity and inheritance in Christ, and do not let present limitations define what God has sent you to do.

Walking in holiness also requires practical choices and support. Build structures that slow the pull of sin, remove influences that repeatedly lead you into it, and seek the Holy Spirit’s conviction and help to repent. Practice vulnerability and accountability with trustworthy believers, and pray together as you put on the whole armor of God. The closing prayers declared freedom to serve God without fear, healing and preservation, opened ears to receive divine instruction, and blessings of righteousness and holiness.
