Becoming the Living Temple of God

• April 23, 2026 • 146 views

Priesthood serves God and carries His counsel to the church, humanity, and creation. Approach Him in reverence, with love and consecration, rather than relying on religious association. The high priest’s garments portray qualities that must become inward realities: the bells and pomegranates call for balance between spiritual gifts and godly character, while “Holiness unto the Lord” marks a life set apart for Him. The new covenant calls every person to know God personally. Seek the revelation that makes these patterns living experience instead of collecting information about them. Pray for enlightened understanding and strength in the inner person so that Christ dwells in the heart and His love becomes its foundation. Know both God’s goodness and His severity, and let reverence grow through the revelation of who He is. Unconditional love must become conduct, and spiritual knowledge must be worked out through prayer, obedience, and private engagement with the Holy Spirit. Keep consecrating the heart as further light exposes what remains untransformed. Repentance continues beyond the beginning of the Christian life; growth toward Christ’s fullness is a humbling journey that requires deeper surrender. Become God’s living temple, where His presence orders the heart and prepares an enduring dwelling place. The Lord’s appearing must confront the lawless nature within, rather than leaving attention fixed only on an external temple or future spectacle. Test spiritual reality by fruit, especially love, holiness, and freedom from offense. Set affections on things above, resist desires that compete with Christ’s rule, and cultivate love for His appearing. Give the truth sustained time and attention, even through small daily acts of devotion, until consecration becomes an established way of life and Christ’s government prevails within.
