Drawing from the Wells of Salvation and Living in God’s Endless Life

• March 5, 2026 • 136 views

Draw with joy from the wells of salvation within you. The living water Christ gives springs up into everlasting life, and prayer in the Spirit brings that life into the places that have become dry, weak or dormant. Ezekiel's river, bringing life wherever it goes, gives a picture for praying over the soul, body and circumstances. This prayer is directed toward pleasing God and living as those born of His Spirit. The indwelling Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead gives life to mortal bodies; approach prayer with faith and the consciousness of His presence within. Joy is strength for receiving and living God's word. The kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, and God's house of prayer is meant to be a place of delight. What you delight in shapes your sense of identity and purpose, so seek your life in God rather than in lesser pleasures. Faith carries an inward energy that moves into action, as the woman with the issue of blood pressed toward Jesus. Ask for opened eyes and discover the joy in His instructions, laying aside hindrances and looking to Jesus, who endured the cross for the joy of bringing His people into union with God. Christ's finished work opens an abundant supply of life, redemption, righteousness, power and wisdom. Give thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints. Worship, obedience, prayer, fasting and renewal of the mind remove obstructions to the flow already available in Christ. God's generosity calls for participation: feast on His goodness, meditate on His word and receive His life at His table. Let gratitude and delight deepen into a sustained walk in which His life flows freely through you.
