Living Through God, Not Through Things

• March 23, 2026 • 131 views

Behold the Father and receive the light through which Christ’s life becomes visible in human conduct. The son learns by seeing and submitting; revelation is meant to transform the soul and release what God has placed within. Seek enlightened understanding, a single-hearted desire for God, and continuing growth rather than settling at a present level of knowledge. Carry God’s purpose in prayer and ministry: proclaim Christ and his gospel, bring people out of bondage, and align with the divine intention that Christ’s enemies come under his feet. Life is not measured by the abundance of possessions. Pursue the kingdom, righteousness, and the incorruptible inheritance of divine life rather than using fellowship chiefly to secure earthly advantage. Legitimate work, practical needs, and material provision remain part of life, but they must not displace God or become idols that determine allegiance. Test the purpose of requests and decisions against his will, and let becoming like Christ take priority over acquiring things. Minister life to people and turn their attention toward him, allowing the inward hope of glory to become a visible expression of his nature. Live through Christ as the sufficiency of God. Deepen fellowship with him beyond discussion alone through worship, meditation, obedience, wholehearted love, and the joy of union. Let his presence fill the soul so that faith can endure the loss of familiar supports, pressure, provocation, and testing. Watch the heart’s responses, receive the Spirit’s correction, and refuse self-confidence, manipulation, or dependence on people and systems as the foundation of life. Feed on Christ, love God with heart, soul, strength, and mind, love the neighbor, and continually choose him as the one whose life sustains and directs you.
