The meeting began with an exhortation on yielding the soul and emotions to the Word of God and the movement of the Holy Spirit. The speaker emphasized that believers must not be ruled by feelings, personality, or excuses, but must learn to instruct the soul as David did in the Psalms. The congregation was exhorted to reject lukewarmness, fear, passivity, and overemphasis on the power of darkness, and to recover confidence in Christ’s authority over sickness, demons, witchcraft, and every work of the devil. The meeting closed with prayer, communion, declarations of fire and faith, worship, announcements, and a priestly blessing over the congregation.
