Preparing His bride

The Faith That Sets Free(Our Super Power)

Chinyere Isibor • August 1, 2026 • 4:00 PM • 6 views

The meeting began with an exhortation on yielding the soul and emotions to the Word of God and the movement of the Holy Spirit. The speaker emphasized that believers must not be ruled by feelings, personality, or excuses, but must learn to instruct the soul as David did in the Psalms. Worship was presented as a life of conforming to God’s Word, whether that requires quietness, solemnity, shouting, or bold expression.
The main teaching focused on faith through the account of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25–34. Pastor Thomas taught that faith begins with Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of faith; faith must be pronounced with the mouth; faith must be demonstrated through corresponding action; and faith must be testified through one’s life. The teaching also emphasized that Jesus’ ministry was not limited to formal platforms, but flowed through His daily life as He went about revealing the glory of God.
The latter part of the meeting became a strong call for the church to return to bold, simple, practical faith in the name and power of Jesus. The congregation was exhorted to reject lukewarmness, fear, passivity, and overemphasis on the power of darkness, and to recover confidence in Christ’s authority over sickness, demons, witchcraft, and every work of the devil. The meeting closed with prayer, communion, declarations of fire and faith, worship, announcements, and a priestly blessing over the congregation.
