The Just Shall Live By Unchanging Faith

Douglas Arukwe, Francis Isibor Snr, Philiok Okpoko, Samson Ototobor, Thomas George • August 3, 2026 • 10:00 AM • 4 views

The meeting began with worship, thanksgiving, and prayer centered on the worthiness of Christ, the blood of redemption, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the believer’s identity as kings and priests unto God. Revelation 5 was used to frame Jesus as the slain Lamb who prevailed to open the book and redeem a people from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. The opening prayer emphasized acknowledging every good thing given in Christ, including eternal life, righteousness, peace, joy, and the river of life flowing from within the believer.
The early teaching focused on the believer as the throne of God, out of whom rivers of living water flow for the healing and gladdening of nations. The speaker then moved into the need for revelation and enlightened understanding so that believers can speak as the oracles of God and represent Christ fully as both Lamb and Lion. Psalm 133 was also emphasized as a foundation for unity among brethren, showing that God commands “the blessing” and life where believers dwell together in one accord.
The main message by Dr. Thomas George centered on “unchanging faith in a changing world,” using Hebrews 10:38 and Hebrews 11 to explain what it means for the righteous to live by faith. Faith was presented as believing God is Creator and has a plan, offering worship that pleases Him, walking in holiness, seeing the invisible in order to do the impossible, participating in God’s mission, obeying God’s will, and living for eternity. The meeting closed with further exhortation that faith must operate within the will of God, not self-will, and that believers must live from unseen realities rather than fear, resources, or visible circumstances.
