Veils Torn, Gates Broken; Entering the Promised Life

• February 14, 2026 • 180 views

Respond to the Lord’s invitation to his mountain and feast on the life he has prepared. The purpose of the banquet is union with him and a deeper togetherness among his people. Isaiah’s feast joins the removal of the covering and veil with death being swallowed up, including the death expressed through destructive ways of living. Come to Zion in heart, thought, and attention, rather than merely attending a meeting physically. As Jesus sent the disciples and multitude away before going up the mountain to pray, lay aside the burdens and attachments that crowd the inner life. Engage the Holy Spirit to bring the heart into fellowship with God and receive the life that satisfies. Keep God’s promise before you when opposition creates fear. Christ holds the key of David and opens the door no one can shut; the challenge is to enter and participate in what he has opened. Pray with the words God has spoken, with thanksgiving and confident declaration. Call upon the Lord revealed as merciful, gracious, truthful, and forgiving. Confess sin and receive his cleansing rather than live beneath accusation. You are a member of God’s household, not a stranger waiting to earn admission. Together with the saints, you are being built on the foundation of apostles and prophets, with Jesus as the cornerstone, into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. If you stumble, rise and continue, and direct prayer in tongues toward the Father with attention and faith. Declare the blessing of God over the community and every sphere of life, standing on his faithfulness rather than the enemy’s threats. The house is to be built, its people strengthened, and its calling fulfilled. Receive the promises of freedom from bondage, the removal of the veil, and strength that produces obedience, prayer, and forgiveness. Psalm 107 calls the hungry, the imprisoned, and even those distressed through their own rebellion to cry to the Lord and praise him for deliverance. Carry these convictions into private prayer, rejoice in his goodness, and trust him to turn what was intended for evil toward good. Come to communion in the assurance of the new covenant, and respond generously and prayerfully to the work among young people.
