Let Jesus reign in personal life and over Nigeria. The mountain of the Lord’s house is exalted so that nations may learn his ways, walk in his paths, and exchange violence for peace. The emergence of the Melchizedek order of priesthood brings priestly service and kingly responsibility together. Sonship is spiritual maturity: cease living only for yourself and carry the Father’s will and the burdens of his people. The priest’s bearing of the tribes represents responsibility for others, and Christ’s life within the believer displaces self-centered living. Exercise priesthood through actual intercession. Stand before God on behalf of the nation, its rulers, and all people, because God desires their salvation and knowledge of the truth. Ask for quiet, peaceable life in godliness, and refuse indifference to the condition of Nigeria. Pray for righteousness, peace, salvation, and the fulfillment of God’s will. The declared hope for the nation is connected to mature believers who accept responsibility before God and carry national burdens rather than merely talking about priesthood. Ask for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and for enlightened understanding so that fellowship with the Lord changes the way you live and pray. Seek the spirit of grace and supplication, remain sober, and set your hope on the grace revealed in Jesus Christ. Continue ministering to the Lord in reverent worship: the familiar Jesus is also the glorified Lord whose appearance brought John to the ground. Exalt his name, yield your heart to his reign, and join worship to responsible intercession.
