Enter the banqueting house with gratitude for the love and initiative of God. The invitation begins with the Lord’s determination to bring his people into what he has prepared; respond with surrender rather than excuses. His banner is love, and his goodness calls for participation rather than merely hearing about restoration. The things prepared for those who love him are beyond unaided sight, hearing and imagination, but the Holy Spirit reveals them. Seek the spirit of wisdom and revelation, pray in the Holy Ghost, and let knowledge of God’s provision awaken the response it deserves. Christ has already overcome; seek the lived manifestation of his victory rather than treating his work as unfinished. Use seasons of illumination to go deeper with the Lord. Work while it is day, store up spiritual provision, build deeply on the rock, and remove the sins, weights and distractions that hinder endurance. Let love for Jesus become a surrendered heart and an obedient will that chooses him above anxiety, bitterness, lust, greed and skepticism. All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose; evil intentions need not defeat his purpose. Turn dissatisfaction with lukewarmness into deliberate prayer, Scripture, consecration and faithful action. Invite trusted companions to pursue God with you and hold you accountable. Resist discouragement that dismisses prayer or denies what God has already done. Follow scriptural examples of faith and patience, continue seeking the Lord through resistance, and pursue fresh encounters without abandoning the truth already received. Give yourself to intimacy, the Word, prayer, fasting and accountable friendships as the Lord leads. Dwell under the Beloved’s shadow with delight and remain at the table of his love. Thank him for restoration, for the feast prepared in the presence of opposition, and for goodness and mercy that accompany an abiding life. Keep entering into the invitation with perseverance rather than allowing threats, doubts or distractions to determine your response.
