Carry the spiritual momentum of encounter into sustained intercession, obedience, and consecration. The removal of the covering over the nations is paired with God’s people discovering his banner of love and the feast prepared for them. Guard the heart against worldliness: rulers were commanded to remain in the Word, fear God, resist excessive accumulation, and refuse to exalt themselves above their brothers. Apply the same seriousness to the calling of kings and priests. Conversion must be followed by discipleship and daily surrender. Direct resistance to evil toward abandoning lies, cheating, theft, and destructive appetites, while learning to distinguish people from the spiritual influences at work. Repentance is the Spirit’s gift; suffering by itself does not produce it. Seek the kingdom first while remaining productive and responsible in work. The Father has already qualified his people for the inheritance in light, delivered them from darkness, and translated them into the kingdom of his Son. Prayer does not persuade a reluctant God to make provision; it brings the heart into agreement with what Christ has accomplished. Spiritual blindness and divided affections can obstruct the experience of that inheritance. Turn toward the Lord so that the veil is removed and the eyes become aware of what is already given. Daniel’s praying and fasting illustrate the response of a heart set to understand, while intimacy with God reorders the desires and requests brought before him. Consecration is a movement from awareness toward the tangible reception of Christ’s provision. Respond to the Spirit’s personal invitations to pray, fast, retreat, and revisit the conference ministry. Hearing God is more than receiving information: the heart must be prepared to receive the impartation and become capable of living the instruction. Zeal, successful ministry, and even remarkable results do not replace obedience to God’s particular direction. The enlightening of the eyes is an encounter that enables believers to experience who they are in Christ. Drain worldly affections and habitual distractions, give Jesus practical lordship, and cultivate repeated points of prayerful fellowship that sustain attentiveness to his presence. Receive the community’s rhythm of prayer and teaching as an opportunity to remain under the banner of his love.
Father, preserve the spiritual momentum of encounter and turn our zeal toward obedience.
Keep us attentive to your Word, humble before you, and free from the corruption of worldly appetites.
Holy Spirit, grant repentance and establish us in daily discipleship and surrender.
Thank you for qualifying us for the inheritance of the saints and translating us into the kingdom of your Son.
Remove the veils over our understanding and free us from double-mindedness.
Bring our hearts into agreement with what Christ has already accomplished.
Teach us to recognize your invitations to prayer, fasting, and personal consecration.
Prepare our hearts to receive your direction as a lived reality, and help us obey beyond enthusiasm or outward success.
Let our shared prayer and teaching keep us attentive to your presence and established in your love.
