Jesus’ love is personal and intentional: he gave himself for his people and fervently desires fellowship with them. Eternal life is knowing the Father and Jesus Christ, and the crucified life is lived by faith in the Son who loved and gave himself for us. Approach prayer with that confidence rather than fear. Linger before the Lord, refuse to feed inward distractions, and allow his desire for communion to awaken a sustained desire to know him. Give yourself wholeheartedly to Christ rather than absorbing the world’s standards of pleasure, status, and identity. The love of Christ calls those for whom he died to stop living for themselves. Intense devotion needs the discernment developed through spiritual exercise and consideration for other people. Pure religion restrains the tongue, cares for vulnerable people, and keeps the believer unspotted from the world. Carry the fragrance of Christ’s knowledge into every place instead of allowing surrounding culture to determine the temperature of your spiritual life. Enter the Lord’s prepared feast through communion, submission, and the cross. Ask for the covering over heart, mind, will, and emotions to be broken, and surrender the inward structures that sustain worldliness. Spiritual freedom requires coming out of participation in darkness and dwelling under God’s shadow. Cultivate secret prayer, hunger for God, and an abiding life from which Spirit-inspired service can bring healing and freedom to others. Join the community’s intercession and preparation with the expectation that the Lord desires to make his people beneficiaries of what he has prepared.
Thank Jesus for loving you, giving himself for you, and inviting you into personal fellowship.
Ask for grace to linger in prayer and deny distractions the attention they demand.
Surrender your heart, mind, will, and emotions to Christ and ask him to break inward patterns of worldliness.
Choose the cross and ask to live for the One who died and rose for you.
Ask for fervent love, spiritual discernment, and a life that remains unspotted from the world.
Pray that the fragrance of Christ’s knowledge will spread through your words, conduct, and service.
Ask for fresh desire to dwell in the secret place and remain under the Almighty’s shadow.
Intercede for freedom for captives and for Spirit-inspired service that brings healing to others.
Pray for the community’s gatherings and youth conference to receive the fullness of what God intends.
