God remembers his covenant and guards the inheritance he has given his people. Approach the Youth Fire Conference with prayer for the city, protection for those attending, and confidence that opposition cannot overturn his purpose. Psalm 105, Numbers 23, and Isaiah 54 ground declarations against harm, enchantment, and condemning accusations in God’s covenant and the righteousness he provides. Let the coming gathering be marked by changed lives, the revelation of God’s glory, and a generation devoted to his will. Christ has already won the decisive victory. Being more than conquerors means entering the benefit of his triumph rather than attempting to win again the battle he has completed. David’s warfare and Solomon’s inherited rest illustrate this distinction. Keep faith anchored in Christ’s finished work, his forgiveness, and his triumph over principalities and powers. Give thanks in advance for the conference’s fruit and the safety of those travelling; continue praising God when present experience is difficult or appears different from the promise. All authority in heaven and earth belongs to Jesus, the holy and true one who holds the key of David. Receive the open-door promise of Revelation 3 with thanksgiving and move forward as individuals, families, and a congregation. The call is to trust the authority of the one who opens the door rather than become preoccupied with those who threaten to close it. Celebrate the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of his body and blood, affirm forgiveness and the blood covenant, and continue in corporate prayer, fasting, worship, and grateful giving.
Father, establish your will in our city and let righteousness, peace, and joy flow through us.
Protect the Youth Fire Conference and those serving in it; remove spiritual and human hindrances to its purpose.
Ground our confidence in Christ’s righteousness and finished victory rather than in fear of opposition.
Transform the young people who gather and raise a generation devoted to your will.
Keep everyone travelling to the conference safe, from departure through arrival.
Open our eyes to what you are revealing and help us walk in its reality.
Teach us to praise you through trials and to trust Jesus’ authority over every circumstance.
Lead us through the door you open, as individuals, families, and a congregation, with gratitude for Christ’s blood covenant.
