Come before God with expectation, thanksgiving, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Kingdom service calls for prayer, worship, love, and practical partnership; resources support the gospel, and ministry must bless people without coercion. Every believer enters Christ through his redeeming blood and belongs to one covenant people. Live as living stones being built together into God’s house, leaving rivalry, betrayal, and division behind. The feasts of the Lord provide a pattern for the journey into maturity: Passover centers on redemption through Christ’s blood, Unleavened Bread on his sinless life, Firstfruits on resurrection, and Pentecost on the gift and work of the Spirit. Recognize the weight of this covenant and let it shape the way you live. Spiritual gifts and outward achievements do not remove the need for inward transformation. Submit hidden bitterness, anger, malice, and other works of the flesh to God’s purifying work. The Christian journey continues toward the fullness of God’s dwelling in his people. Advance without discarding the truths already received: carry Passover and Pentecost forward as the trumpet calls for preparation, atonement calls for sober cleansing and oneness, and Tabernacles points toward God’s abiding presence. Build according to the pattern God reveals rather than substituting a personal ambition for his purpose. Grow into both his image and his likeness through teaching, fellowship, a renewed mind, and obedience to the Spirit. The Spirit’s work reaches beyond gifts into conformity to Christ and life for the mortal body. Put the deeds of the body to death by the Spirit; receive the assurance of adoption and remain faithful through suffering. Creation awaits mature sons and the glorious liberty associated with the redemption of the body. Take this hope seriously, cultivate a hidden life with God, and allow the process of growth to run its full course. Maturity carries an assignment: finish the Great Commission. Jesus’ authority, command, and promise require a church that trains and sends people to make disciples among the nations. Do not confuse activity with completing the task. Raise sons who can carry the kingdom beyond the gathered congregation, and release them to serve. Begin with the people and communities already within reach while developing the capacity to go farther. The apostles’ witness, Philip’s ministry after the scattering, and Paul’s sense of responsibility press the same challenge upon this generation. Model hunger for the mission, celebrate small steps of growth, and adapt your approach to the people you are forming. Repent of work that has displaced the primary assignment and return to purposeful discipleship and witness. Extend this concern for the nations into prayer
for Nigeria: seek peace, integrity in leadership, an end to corruption and religious violence, wise stewardship of resources, and workers who will carry the gospel abroad.
Holy Spirit, open my understanding and prepare me to receive the truth you are bringing to your church.
Father, deepen my understanding of covenant and deliver me from rivalry, betrayal, and division within Christ’s body.
Lord Jesus, cleanse my inward life and bring every hidden work of the flesh under your transforming power.
Teach me to build according to your pattern and to grow into the image and likeness of Christ.
Lead me by your Spirit, renew my mind, and strengthen me to remain faithful through the process of growth and suffering.
Bring your people into mature sonship, freedom from fear and corruption, and the fullness of your life.
Awaken hunger in me to finish the Great Commission; show me the people I can reach and give me courage to go.
Help our churches train, encourage, and release faithful workers, celebrating growth and guiding people with wisdom.
Father, establish lasting peace in Nigeria, end religious violence, and raise leaders marked by wisdom and integrity.
Protect Nigeria’s resources from corruption, relieve economic hardship, and send gospel workers from this nation to the world.
