Knowing God Beyond Information; When Faith Becomes Experience

• April 27, 2026 • 155 views

God works in his people to form Christ, giving both the desire and the ability to do his pleasure. The Holy Spirit reveals Christ in a way that intellect alone cannot produce, and this revelation must change relationships, conduct, and ministry. Discipleship is a lifelong walk of intimacy rather than a short program or the accumulation of information. Follow Jesus’ humility by taking the inward posture of a servant, surrendering self-importance, and becoming obedient to the Father. Grace is God’s enabling life for that obedience, and every gift and commission carries responsibility to make Christ’s life visible rather than merely adding a title. Serving God means walking with him in the instructions he gives, allowing outward ministry to grow from inward obedience. Worship belongs in the heart, in spirit and truth, and is expressed when the believer responds to God’s demands even against personal preference. Abraham’s willingness to surrender Isaac illustrates a heart that values God above the blessing received. Wait on both the word and the Spirit to learn how to serve, remain faithful in small responsibilities, and let grace work through the process of life. Revelation also helps form a servant; it is not simply a reward withheld until servanthood is complete. Fellowship should allow believers to contribute, receive correction, and grow together in understanding. Knowing God must move beyond hearing about him into a transforming encounter with his life. Job’s movement from the hearing of the ear to seeing God challenges confidence in titles, inherited explanations, and the assumption that present understanding is complete. Continue to receive correction, testing, and fresh revelation, and seek to know Christ in resurrection power and the fellowship of his sufferings. The aim is a life whose moral strength, humility, and love carry more weight than outward spectacle. Feed on Christ, minister from what has become real within you, strengthen weaker brethren, and bring the life of God into society through faithful, practical expression.
