My Father & I Part 4

Search beyond familiar statements about God’s fatherhood and ask Him for deeper understanding of the blessings of being His child. Receive new birth through the living Word as the cancellation of sin’s claim and the establishment of the Father’s ownership. The Word penetrates to the marrow and discerns the heart’s thoughts and intentions. Trust the Father’s cleansing work throughout your being, and acknowledge that His sanctifying purpose reaches your conduct, desires, and bodily life. The Father’s foreknowledge, the Spirit’s sanctification, and the sprinkling of Jesus’ blood are directed toward obedience. Receive this sanctifying work so that righteousness and holiness replace the desires of sin. Confess that you belong to the Father and share the life He has given. When visible conditions seem to contradict these truths, continue to look at God’s Word, declare it, and behold His glory. Transformation comes through sustained beholding, from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord. Look into the perfect law of liberty morning and evening, and respond to God’s promise with Mary’s willingness: let it be according to His Word. Give thanks for redemption reaching spirit, soul, and body, and approach communion in faith. Live to serve the Father who brought you to Himself. Appeal to the blood of Jesus for protection, victory over opposition, strength in temptation and trial, and victory over sickness and disease.
