Ask not only for forgiveness but also for the strength to abandon the behavior and remain faithful to the Lord's burden for his people. Remain anchored in God's calling when opposition or past mistakes threaten to discourage you. Joseph's journey and the accounts of God's provision call for renewed faith, obedience, and movement toward the assignment he has given. Turn that confidence outward in earnest intercession for Nigeria, asking God to prevent violence, protect threatened communities, and establish prayerful centers of light.
