Used by God or Approved by God?

Francis Isibor Snr, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj

God’s purposes must be entered according to His timing rather than through self-promotion, human ambition, or forced opportunities. A genuine calling may involve years of waiting before the appointed door opens, because being in the right place at the wrong time is still outside the order of God. Learn to recognize the doors God opens, refuse the pressure to manufacture opportunities, and trust that the keys to divine assignments remain in His hands. Nigeria carries a significant spiritual destiny, with a particular calling upon children, young people, ministers, and the remnant church to participate in what God intends to accomplish.
Spiritual power and visible ministry success are not proof of divine approval. Matthew 7:21–23 warns that people may prophesy, cast out demons, perform miracles, and minister in the name of Jesus while ultimately serving themselves rather than the will and Kingdom of God. There is a difference between being used by God and being approved by God. Therefore, pursue a life worthy of the Lord, make your calling and election sure, and give priority to transformation into the character of Christ. The power associated with the Lion must never replace the character of the Lamb; spiritual fruit, Christlike character, and obedience are essential to faithful Christian life and ministry.
Reject the desire for instant prominence, instant ministry growth, and shortcuts to spiritual influence. The temptation of Jesus in Matthew 4 illustrates that Satan can offer elevation and opportunity without divine process, while God calls His servants to climb the mountain through obedience and His appointed timing. Discern invitations carefully, choosing the narrow path of God’s will even when it leads to smaller and less prestigious assignments. Guard the church from counterfeit spiritual power and every mixture with witchcraft, seeking instead the pure work of the Holy Spirit. Grow in spiritual stature, wisdom, understanding, revelation, knowledge, counsel, might, and the fear of the Lord; preach the gospel of the Kingdom, strengthen families, protect children from corruption, and remain under the blessing and protection of God.
